Avril Lavinge get married again

Avril Lavigne has stressed that despite her divorce to marry again is not afraid.

The Canadian singer split with husband Deryck Whibley of four years, in July 2010, and has since moved on with Kardashian step-brother Brody Jenner.

Appearing on Chelsea Lately, the 26-year-old said that she expected marriage to each other.

She said, 'It's all about love and I make that my number one priority. One day I would hope to have kids and do that whole thing. Right now I'm very focused on my career, my album, my tour and naturally when that happens for me next, yeah I'll go for it.'

She said that despite the split, she is still close friends with ex-Whibley.

She added, 'We're not doing each other but yes, we're friends. I really respect him as a person and as an artist so it's all good.

'Deryck is very inspiring to me. He's so talented, and I really look up to him. I call him all the time, like, 'Yo, I've got a music question. Help me.' He has such a kind heart and he's so smart. We're there for each other.'

Avril Lavinge at the GAP store in Japan

Avril Lavigne was spotted at the grand opening of the GAP flagship store in Tokyo, Japan yesterday (March 3).

With her new album hitting stores soon, Avril recently told Parade magazine,

"I've been on the road since I was 17, so it was nice to balance it out a little and be at home and do what I needed to do in my personal life and just live a little. I'm always away from everybody and it was nice to be at home and around friends for a little bit. And of course, since I write my music, it's important to take the time to get inspiration. So I took a bit of a break. I was working on the record, but I was taking my time with it."
